Day 2, Aug 17: ZEN-CATION

Good morning and time to Boogie Down, Ashmere! It is the second day of our zen-cation and we are off in all different directions for fun. Some people tie-dyed and made a unique and technicolored quilt to let everyone know that we are a very rainbow colored bunch!

After a fun filled morning of classes and a lunch of yummy leftovers, we felt the rain coming. We had a good rest and then went up the hill to see the movie, Lego Batman which was very interestingly weird but funny. After dinner, we had a challenge night where people challenge each other to do something silly or very strange. Lief challenged Mary to a water drinking competition. Shirley had several contenders in arm wrestling. Ophelia held on to her title as the wrestling champion. Myles and Kendra performed a KC and Jojo duet. Nancy absolutely crushed Ben in Grease trivia (in honor of ONJ of course). Sometimes there were winners, sometimes there were losers but it never matters when you are laughing till your stomach hurts with your chosen family.
