DAY 12, Aug 27: DECOMPRESSION

Nancy:

“Today was a very very sad day because not only it’s the last day of camp and we had to start packing up for going home a.k.a. the real world. We had to say good bye to 2 great friends ……izzo and Faith. Everyone said their good bye and hugs to Izzo at breakfast and everyone said good bye and hug Faith in the dining hall as they strolled by or take a  break from their packing up to say good bye and hug Faith …get 1 last look of that beautiful Faith Carter smile.

 Like I said that today was sad because we had to pack up everything except a couple of outfits for after swimming in the beautiful lake and hanging out with friends on the lawn eating ice pops to cool off. Also last minute Lake pictures to remember the amazing summer that everyone had this year. JoJo took a group picture on the dock and in the lake depending on where you were at the time.

People took showers and got ready for dinner and the last camp fire. We went around the camp fire to share a favorite memory of camp “

While we were sad to be on the last day, there was cause for a party as we celebrated Seth’s birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SETH! After a delicious bday dessert we spent the evening by the fire reminiscing and reflecting on all the fun that was had. We know everyone can’t wait to return next year!
