Day 5, Aug 20: PURE TALENT

This morning, we went to the picturesque Tanglewood Music Center to see the Boston POPS. Some people sat up close in the seats while others spread out on the lawn. Ophelia laid on my back the whole time. It was actually very relaxing. The music was beautiful and one of the esteemed, grammy-winning members of the orchestra was a person with a disabilities.

When we got back to camp, some of us went swimming. Shirley and Jason both went kayaking! We saw lots of motor boats, including one called the black pearl.

Our friend Cynthia came to cook for us and made white bean chili and cornbread for dinner. Our friends Mike and Rachel, the directors of Camp Tulgeywood, came to visit and see our new space.

Afterwards, we did Studio night! There were tons of acts. Morgan did a skit called “how to kill a zombie”, Tay sang, Ophelia killed it in a rap battle and Shirley pretended to be a queen who was served water out of different types of glasses and vessels.
