Sad News and Play Announcement

Dear Ashmere Project Donors, Supporters, Families and Friends, 

Thank you so much for your unwavering support this summer and throughout these last 3 years. We could not make our retreat happen without you!

We are heartbroken to report that due to a significant number of Covid cases within our community, we had to close early, and cancel our annual musical tomorrow, August 23rd. Keeping our community members safe and healthy is our top priority and despite our best efforts, this summer's variant spread and we had to depart earlier than we had planned. We continue to monitor everyone's health and safety as folks return home, and we are grateful that their illness has remained mild.

Although we are extremely disappointed, the week that we spent together was full of amazing memories that will not be forgotten: swimming and boating on the lake, creating art, doing yoga, eating lunch at The Hangar Pub and Grill, watching a dance performance at Jacob's Pillow, participating in color wars and hosting the most beautiful wedding for our dear friends, Keenan and Isabelle! We are grateful for these moments we shared together- next summer can't come soon enough!  To make up for our lost time, we will be scheduling more events during the year to bring our community together.

We are grateful to each and every one of you for your love, support and generosity through all the ways you help to make this community happen.
